Strengths:

Programming Comprehension.  Clients’ needs and desires are carefully noted at the programming stage, providing the necessary understanding to work efficiently toward a successful schematic design that is considerate of the budget.

Respect for  Existing Architecture.  Existing architecture of the home is respected...complementing, rather than re-inventing it.  I feel that a successful addition should look like it was always there.  New homes should respect their site and surrounding architecture.

Design of Interiors for Comfort, Flow and Function.  Circulation patterns are carefully analyzed and modified to create a smooth and logical flow through the home, while respecting privacies and keeping living spaces free of traffic.

Industry Experience.  12 years of experience in the construction industry, coupled with 4 years of architectural education and 26 years practicing residential design provides the basis for strong communication with all parties involved in a project.  Plans are structurally logical, and well thought out. A good relationship between the designer and the builder means quicker solutions to the inevitable surprises that can turn up during renovations.

Technology.  Strong computer skills and knowledge of programs eases the transition from early design concepts, through the construction process.  Plans can be submitted in  various formats for periodic review, and changes tracked for accurate record keeping.  Product selections can be made and reviewed via the internet. Ability to communicate remotely saves time usually spent in site meetings and keeps the project on track.
